What motivated you to join the ScholarX program?

I was unsure about what I wanted to do after completing my B.Sc. I order to obtain some guidance regarding this I decided to apply for the ScholarX program.

Your Top 3 learnings from the ScholarX program?

  1. Machine learning
  2. Options for higher education
  3. To never give up, no matter how hard it gets.

What are your plans after graduation?

To do my master’s in environmental engineering.

It’s 2029, what are you up to?

Hopefully, running my own company.

You have an unlimited pot of money. How would you invest this to improve the education system in Sri Lanka?

I believe children living all across the country should have access to quality education. Therefore, if I had an unlimited source of money, I would develop a strategy so that every child in Sri Lanka has equal access to primary and secondary education. This can be done by providing incentives for teachers and Improving infrastructure in schools across the country.

In addition, steps must be carried out to provide standardized educational materials for A/L students. So that they won’t need to attend extra classes.
